Veteran's Haven Eliminating Use of Plastic Bags

Beginning Wednesday May 18th 2011, Veteran's Haven will be eliminating the use of plastic bags during their weekly Food Distribution. With the help of a grant from Ford Motor Company, Veteran's Haven has purchased canvas bags to replace the use of plastic bags.

This bag is being given out on a ONE-TIME BASIS. Once you've been given a bag, you must bring it with you every week. If you do not have this bag, or a bag or box of your own, you will NOT be allowed to go through the Food Line.

People returning to the line with this bag will receive extra items. So it's important that you bring the bag every week.
