Veterans Haven, Inc is a 501c3 non-profit tax exempt organization dedicated to helping honorably discharged vets by providing food, clothing, housing, transportation, medical supplies, counseling, referrals, and job connections to those in need.

Founded in June 1994 by a Vietnam vet, Veterans Haven Inc operates from their Outreach Center in Wayne, a suburb of Detroit, which opened it's doors in May 2000.

Veterans Haven Inc utilizes a small staff and volunteers to provide their many services.

Veterans Haven Inc maintains community involvement and support. While veterans are our main focus, we also have sponsored programs aimed at Seniors and Low Income non-veterans such as our Wednesday Food Program.

Recently Veterans Haven Inc has sponsored various fundraisers to help out Iraqi War veterans who are returning to the States in need of medical and financial help and encountering bureaucratic red tape.
